Throwing status quo a curve: the refreshed BMW 3 Series
The 2009 3 Series
Updated legends, the new 2009 3 Series Sedans and Sports Wagons retain their class-leading attitude, while flaunting new exterior and interior cues. Fresh color choices, new character lines on the hood, redesigned front and rear bumpers, halogen front lights with Corona headlight-rings, and even a recast twin kidney grille all reflect their athletic nature.
2009 also marks the U.S. debut of BMW’s Advanced Diesel engine with BluePerformance, now in the twin-turbo 335d Sedan. This is the same technology that took the “2008 World Green Car” award for BMW’s clean and fuel-efficient diesel power.
Under the hood of the 335i Sedan, you’ll find the award-winning, 300-hp twin-turbo six-cylinder engine; in the 328i Sedan and Sports Wagon, a 230-hp inline six-cylinder Valvetronic powerplant. And BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive gives the 328i xDrive and 335i xDrive optimum traction on any road.
